Welcome to the His Sanctuary Ministries of India website. We appreciate your interest in knowing more about the ministry and the vision that our Lord has placed on our hearts. We are an independent non-profit Christian Organization "reaching the unreached in India and around the World".

His Sanctuary Ministries was founded by Rev. Dr. T. Rajendra Prasad.  Dr. Prasad is a former Hindu from India who, before the year 1978, rejected the teachings of Christianity and hated Jesus Christ and the followers of Christ. He was a member of the Brahmin Caste in India, and was considered a rich man. During that year (1978), Dr. Prasad suddenly became very sick, and was on death's doorstep in a Christian hospital. Christian ministers there began witnessing to him, and he was miraculously healed. He returned home from his radical healing and soon thereafter gave his heart and life to Christ.

Dr. Prasad’s call to Christianity resulted in his departure from his high paying government position to attend a Christian seminary.   As a result of his accepting Christ and the Lord’s call to full-time ministry, his family deserted him and he relinquished all that he owned for the cause of Christ. It was at this point that God audibly spoke to Dr. Prasad and told him to go out and witness to the poor and the unsaved of India. Since then, Dr. Prasad's ministry has grown, and he has planted several churches in India's poor countryside, while meeting the increasing needs of thousands through the transforming power of Christ.
